When the team of Karthik Calling Karthik told Deepika Padukone that she needs to smoke for her role in the film, the actress was afraid of getting addicted to cigarettes. But thanks to Ritesh Sidhwani’s thinking, they shot for the scenes with organic cigarettes and the parts were done.
