The Bachan pariwar has taken all the necessary steps to keep their precious new family member Aaradhya away from the media since the time of her birth. Now, the photos of Aaradhya has hit the net through the efforts made by an Indian English daily.

As per the reports from the officials of the English daily, the exclusive photos of Aishwarya Rai carrying Aaradhya cuddled up closely with her chest. The photos have been snapped at the Nice-Cote d’Azur International airport while Aishwarya was returning to hometown after attending the 65th Cannes International film festival.

As the photos have been taken from a distance, the face of  Aaradhya is not clear. Aaradhya was seen with a pink baby suit, while Aishwarya was seen in a black dress. The security personnel who escorted Aishwarya to her car made sure that the Ash and her baby were not clicked from any angles.

Aaradhya photos have been in demand since the time of her birth. The Bachchans have avoided offers from international magazines and asking for Aaradhya's pictures for around  15 to 20 million dollars. This is the first time that we've got clear pictures of Aaradhya and next on people's mind will be the curiosity to see her face.

Earlier there were a lot of suggestions and rumors were that the child has been named Abhilasha (Abhi-Ash) names combined, but now we hear that officially the name is announced to be Aaradhya Bachchan and a newspaper daily has been reported that the name has been registered two days ago.

There were also reports that the girl baby and the grand daughter of Amitabh Bachchan has been named Abhinandika and Aaliya.

Beti B, now Aaradhya Bachchan was born on the 16th of November 2011. We just hope this name is final as per the reports.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan says his wife Aishwarya Rai is happy playing mother to their three-and-half-month-old daughter and would return to work when she feels like doing so. Meanwhile the actor is keen to work in films inspired by plays by young writers.

"As and when she wants to come back, is completely her decision... as and when she decides, when she sees a script she is inspired by - the decision is entirely hers. Currently she is very happy doing what she is doing," the 36-year-old said here at the launch of Sorabh Pant's book "The Wednesday Soul".

While most filmmakers may opt for novels to base their films on, Abhishek favours plays penned by young writers.

"I like to read biographies and autobiographies. But there are some wonderful plays out there that a lot of young, Indian talent is writing. I would love to do one of them," said Abhishek.

"I can't decide which one. Like I said, there is a lot of interesting material being written in India, I would love to delve into that resource to come up with a film," he added.

The Bachchan family is yet to announce the name of Beti B.

Abhishek is currently busy working on "Bol Bachchan" and "Chakravyuha". His two sequels - "Dostana 2" and "Dhoom 3" will go on floors soon.

Recently at an event forum, Abhishek Bachchan had revealed to the media that though the Namkaran ceremony is not a big deal and revealing the name of their precious daughter to the outside world is not a problem, however mentioned that he is not willing to post a picture of his baby girl.

Now author Shobhaa De had revealed that Beti B's name could be Abhilasha ( Abhi-Ash)! She had tweeted, “Beti B to be named Abhilasha? That's a stroke of genius. Well done,parents. Abhi and Ash. Truly inspired, if true.”

Though the news is not official, the name seems like an apt choice, combining the parent's name together. Also earlier it was mentioned that their daughter's name is likely to be start in A.

Big B is recovering from abdominal surgery and is in Seven Hills hospitals in Mumbai. He was to be discharged yesterday but got delayed as he still needs rest.

Earlier Aishwarya Rai made a public appearance when Oprah Winfrey visited India and was later seen in Ritesh Genelia's Wedding. She along with her daughter Bet B and Abhishek flew in to Goa for a small family holiday during Abhishek's birthday (February 5th).

As grandpa had delay in his discharge due to pain, he was visited by his special grand daughter to wish him speedy recovery. Seems like grandpa is missing Beti B.

But if we are to go by the latest reports, Aish and Abhishek's Beti B will make her first public appearance at Oprah Winfrey’s chat show Next Chapter.

Oprah Winfrey recently visited India, during her  visit, the talk show host has done interviews of several big personalities from Bollywood and other fields. Reports suggest that the Bachchan family has planned to introduce their Beti B on Oprah's popular show.

It should be recalled here that Oprah Winfrey visited Bachchan's residence in Juhu, just hours after she landed in Mumbai. Later, she spoke to media and described Aishwarya Rai's daughter as 'princess' and 'beautiful'. But she remained very secretive about her visit to their house.

Hoping against hope, filmmakers in Bollywood have been sending scripts to Aishwarya Rai but have drawn a blank so far.

With the rumour of Aishwarya Rai having shown interest in a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali fizzling out, it’s clear that the actress is enjoying her motherhood to the hilt. According to sources close to the Bachchan family, Aishwarya has dedicated herself fully to the care of her little daughter, so much so she is not even giving a thought to making a comeback to films in Bollywood.

However, that hasn’t stopped the hopeful filmmakers from sending her scripts of their films. In fact, some producers have offered Aishwarya Rai films alongside hubby Abhishek Bachchan to lure her out of her self-chosen hibernation following the birth of her daughter in November 2011.

But nothing doing for Aishwarya. Family comes before films for the actress and a shining example for her in the Bachchan household is the saasu maa Jaya Bachchan who had put her own acting career on hold to care for Shweta and Abhishek.

Meanwhile, the source says that there is no pressure on Aishwarya from Abhishek about keeping away from films. She is doing it by her own volition.

Post her much publicized delivery of her baby girl, Aishwarya Rai’s fans are eagerly awaiting her comeback in films. Though ll the film makers want to cast her in their projects, it is Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has managed to finalize the deal with her for the lead role in his long pending project Bajirao Mastani. Bhansali reportedly had a meeting with Aishwarya at Jalsa and reportedly Ash seemed interested in the project.

However, since Aishwarya Rai gave birth to a daughter in November and motherhood would be her first calling for a few months, the film will probably go on floors only in the second half of 2012.

Bhansali plans to cast SRK opposite Aishwarya in this project and if everything goes as planned, this would be Aishwarya’s fourth film with Shah rukh after Josh, Devdaas and Mohabbatein.

Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan's first child seems to be the occassion to be celebrated in a grand manner at the Bachchan parivar. The family of Aishwarya Rai and the Bachchan must be on a high celebration mood now.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was admitted to Seven Hills Hospital in Anderi, Mumbai on Monday night for delivery and she has delivered a girl baby child. The baby was born on Wednesday morning says recent reports.

Madhur Bhandarkar is depressed!

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is in depressed state of mind. He does not know how to react as his most ambitious project ‘Heroine’ shelved. He had worked on the script of ‘Heroine’ for one and a half years and was taken aback to know that the main protagonist of the movie Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is five months pregnant. He was happy for Ash but at the same time depressed thinking about the faith of his film. He panic why Ash did not inform him earlier.

He blames Aishwarya for hiding the pregnancy news. Madhur said that if he had known it before he could not have announced the movie at Cannes and would not have shot the first look of ‘Heroine’. It was a huge film and everything was almost settled and the film was to go on floors on June 7. Knowing the news at this stage is a huge loss for the entire unit.

The main protagonist need to do things which a pregnant woman could not afford to do so and hence Madhur could not drag a pregnant woman to do things which may bring trouble to her new born. She needs to smoke, run, drenched on waterfalls, go physical with the male leads. The filmmaker feels that if some unpleasant things happen during the shoot then he would never able to forgive himself.

Madhur has decided to put ‘Heroine’ on hold at the moment.

Ever since Amitabh Bachchan tweeted last night and confirmed the news of Aishwarya Rai’s pragnancy, there has been a hullabaloo about the gen-next Bachchan’s arrival. We checked with astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi on what do the numbers says about Ab Baby’s baby.

Bhavikk Sangghvi claims, “I had already predicted way back in November 2010, that Aishwarya Rai would embrace ‘motherhood’ in 2011″. So will it be a boy or a girl we ask him and he says, “In all probability, it will be a baby girl”.

He explains, “Aishwarya Rai’s ‘destiny’ number adds up to Number 5 (Mercury – 1st November 1973) and Abhishek’s ruling number also remains the same (5th February 1976). Its symbol is represented as twins. So do not be surprised if they have duplets. Even otherwise, Gemini is considered to be a ‘feminine’ star sign and the chances of a female child are much higher”.

Bhavikk describes about the yet-to-be-born features, “Not to mention, the baby would be angelic looking just like her mom; but she will adapt her height from her father’s side”.

Madhuri replaces Aishwarya Rai!

Almost after a decade and a half, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt will be sharing screen space. Madhuri will replace Aishwarya Rai in the remake of yesteryears blockbuster, ‘Satte Pe Satta’.

To be co-produced by Dutt and Ashtavinayak, the remake will see Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit stepping into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan-Hema Malini.

Director of the film, Soham Shah expressed his joy for having Madhuri Dixit on board. He said, "I was always keen on Madhuri playing Hema Malini`s role in my remake. However, I was hesitant to put the proposal forward wondering if she would accept it. Looks like someone up there was listening because Dhillin Mehta and Baba (Sanjay) who are co-producers sent Madhuri a message. I sent her the script and I was ecstatic when she agreed."

If we recall, Madhuri and Sanjay starred opposite each other in superhit, ‘Khalnayak’ and ‘Sajaan’.

Producer Dhillin Mehta is excited about the Mads-Sanju pair. He said, "Honestly, the Sanjay-Madhuri pair has its own charm. We are delighted that we were able to get her to say yes to us. Sometimes things work out for the best. We are happy to announce this film on her birthday today."

Aishwarya’s name as a lead actress was also in the mind of the makers but her prior assignments will keep her busy for couple of months and Sanju baba does not want to delay the shooting of the film further.

It’s common knowledge by now that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has signed Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine to be produced by UTV.

The film, which revolves around the life of a film actress, will have the director get back to his realistic filmmaking, post the lighthearted Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji .

However, this project might come to Aishwarya at the cost of losing another film which she was supposed to do with hubby Abhishek Bachchan.

Aishwarya and Abhishek were recently finalized to come together in Rajkumar Santoshi’s rom-com Ladies & Gentleman . “However UTV wants Madhur’s film to start in July”, says an industry insider.

The rumours that Aishwarya Rai prompted her hubby Abhishek Bachchan to opt out of the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Italian Job were apparently what they were - rumours.

We hear that far from preventing her dear husband from working with Katrina, Ash actually recommended Katrina’s name to the film’s makers when she was approached for the role.

Ash was the first choice for the lead role opposite Abhi. But since she couldn’t sign the film, she suggested Katrina’s name.

Director Vipul Shah is quoted as saying: “All I can say at the moment is that Aishwarya has absolutely no objections to the Abhishek-Katrina pair on screen.”

Katrina too makes it clear that she’s eager to work with Abhi but hasn’t come across the script that would justify their coming together again after Sarkar.

They were present at the event organised by the Cancer Patients Aid Association and the stars sang and danced with cancer patients while on their promotion spree.

Both of them were overwhelmed with emotions to see the kids. Aishwarya urged people to come forward to offer support to these children. She said, “I think everybody should come forth, contribute in whichever way, in whatever manner you can, to help fund the treatment of people, be it children or whoever the people in need because cancer is a big fight and I think it is something that’s an ongoing fight with a large part of the human community. So, do whatever you can, financially, personally in spending time, in being there and lending support and strength.”

Bonding with the cancer patients, Khiladi Kumar said, “Today I felt very good after looking at them (children) dance and even looking at their stamina. I have a very old relation with cancer as my father had cancer, So, I can feel the pain.”
