Actress Deepika Padukone's purported boyfriend Siddharth Mallya has chosen Sonam Kapoor as the most stylish actress in Bollywood. “Most stylish actress! I think Sonam dresses pretty well, but they all doll up pretty well, but Sonam looks pretty good,” Siddharth said here at the red carpet of an award ceremony.

"I've always actually said this that Prateik Babbar is pretty stylish. He has got his own sort of quirky sense of style. So he is pretty cool,” he said. Siddharth has reportedly been dating Deepika for a while and the duo has been spotted together on several occasions.

Mausam debuts with Rs 9 crs at Box Office

Despite getting unfavourable reviews from film critics, Pankaj Kapoor's first directorial movie Mausam has got a grand welcome at the Box Office. According to reports, Shahid-Sonam Kapoor starrer has scored approximately Rs 9 crores on the first day of its release. This is the biggest opening for a Shahid Kapoor’s film.

Mausam, which has been made with a budget of Rs 35 crore, was released in around 1,900 theatres and it has got an average of 50 to 60% occupancy. The movie was estimated to gross Rs 24 crores in the first three days, but opening day collection, which is Rs 9 crores, shows that it will go beyond its estimated figures.

Mausam has done the best collection when compared to Shahid Kapoor’s previous movies. Yash Raj Films' Badmaash Company had done a net business of approximately Rs 13 crore in its opening weekend, while UTV Motion Pictures' Kaminey earned approximately Rs Rs 17 crore in the first week.

However, Mausam has beaten this week’s other releases like Speedy Singhs and U R My Jaan. Other two films have got decent reviews from film critics, but they have got a poor response at the collection centres.

Apparently, as a part of the endorsement, Sonam Kapoor will be seen promoting the said brand’s entire existing portfolio which includes refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves and air conditioners.

The official confirmation of the same is awaited.

Bollywood actor Imran Khan, who plays a womaniser in his new film ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, admits he has stripped more than the girls in the film.

‘I have some deadly shirtless songs and scenes. I believe I have stripped more than the girls in the film,’ Imran told reports here Monday at DT Cinemas in DLF Promenade, where he was present along with co-star Sonam Kapoor and director Punit Malhotra, to promote the film.

‘I Hate Luv Storys’ is about two people, who are completely opposite when it comes to romance.

While Jay (Imran) doesn’t believe in love, Simran (Sonam) swears by it and has a very Bollywood idea of the emotion. It is set for release July 2.

Dodging rumours of any cold war between him and actor Ranbir Kapoor, Imran said: ‘I don’t think actors should be compared. Every actor looks different and performs differently, everyone has their own strength and weaknesses and are good in their own way.’

Imran and Sonam were greeted with much fanfare at the mall. They joyfully interacted with their fans and even shook a leg together for the title song of ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ for their audience.

Sonam Kapoor Really praises Abhishek Bachchan

For quite sometime, the Saawariya girl Sonam Kapoor has been working for her second movie Dilli 6 with Abhishek Bachchan and the actress is full of praises for Abhishek finding him a talented co star and a wonderful guy. Sonam quips, “I think Abhishek is a wonderful guy. I really love him. He has such a handsome and charming personality. It is a real pleasure to be with him on the sets of a movie. I am working with him for the first time and it is a wonderful experience”.


Sonam is one flick old and the way Abhishek makes her feel relax on the set is noteworthy. On being asked about her Bollywood journet so far, she said, “I owe everything to my father. Whatever I am today, it is only because of him. I have inherited fame and recognition. I have to do a lot to establish myself”.


The story of Rakeysh Mehra’s Dilli 6 is based on Delhi’s Chandni Chowk. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni, and Divya Dutta. Mehra’s has shown his directorial potential in Rang De Basanti and again hopes to do wonder with Dilli 6.
