We also heard that the film used the website StarNow.com to recruit extras for filming. The film's theatrical trailer is said to be released alongside John Abraham's Force which is scheduled for release on the 16th of September.

With both John and Katrina’s dates free, director Vipul Amrutlal Shah has seized the opportunity and is set to begin his remake of the Tamil hit Kaakha Kaakha with Nishikant Kamat (of Mumbai Meri Jaan) as its director.

Vipul has already finalized John. Now, he’s pursuing Katrina to play the leading lady. Reports say Katrina has already come aboard, but we are waiting for the confirmation.

The film is an action thriller about a cop intent on wiping out crime from the city.

If John and Kat indeed pair up for this one, and for Dostana sequel next year, the fans of the two stars won’t have any complaints. Rather, that would be double delight.

Bipasha’s birthday without John

Though John was in Delhi, but he preferred spending time with cars than her lady love on her birthday. Giving the details, the bong beauty says, “This was my first birthday in Delhi. I’ve very special links with that city. I was born in Delhi. So when I got a chance to be in the Capital for my birthday I grabbed it. To make it even better it was seriously cold in Delhi. I love the winter weather.

It was the Auto Expo and as you know John loves anything on wheels, but hates birthdays. So he was just happy being around some of the best cars in the world.”

However, Bipasha stands by her lover and explains, “John runs the other way when it comes to cutting cakes. I spent my whole birthday cutting cakes with different groups of family members and friends. I couldn’t take all the calls and sms. But I answered all of them on the day after my birthday.”

Talking about the family lunch on her birthday, Bips says, “It’s an annual ritual on my birthday, and one I won’t miss for the world. This time one of my sisters was not here for my birthday. She’s studying. We really missed her. But my parents and my other sister, brother-in-law and nephew were home for my birthday.

When I returned from Delhi my house was filled with flowers. You’ve no idea how wonderful flowers look in a newly-renovated house. My home was fragrant and attractive. My two sweet maidservants had arranged all the bouquets all over the house.”

John Abraham nude picture Bollywood star John Abraham could be in trouble as a city court on Tuesday asked Delhi police to file a report on a complaint seeking registration of a criminal case against him for posing allegedly nude in a photograph published in a daily.

Metropolitan Magistrate Ashish Aggarwal directed the station house officer (SHO) of the Moti Nagar police station to submit the report to the court within two weeks.

"Since the complaint alleges commission of cognisable offences under Section 292 and 294 (relating to spread of obscene material) of the Indian Penal Code, the SHO is directed to file his report within two weeks," the court said.

CM Dua, who runs an NGO, sought registration of a first information report (FIR) against the model-turned-actor as well as the publisher and the editor of the daily.

"....the lascivious, prurient and obscene acts and photographs being published and shown by established members of society and publication house... tend to corrupt young minds, which is very dangerous and suicidal for the coming generation, if not taken care of," Dua said in his petition.

He said he was appalled to find the magazine supplement of the daily dated June 11, 2009, carrying a "nude photograph" of Abraham at the study desk of his children.

Dua said police had not taken any action on his complaint, prompting him to approach the court.

He may have made both men and women swoon with his dare to bare act in the gay-comedy Dostana and gone full Monty for upcoming film New York but John is quite shy of baring his skin before his fans, even if it’s just taking off his T-shirt. John was in Delhi for a mass workout session organised by Diet Pepsi on Sunday, when he was faced with the cheeky request and it was no surprise that it was the male members of the audience who went crazy screaming for a look at his fabulous body.


Abraham, who is one of the Bollywood’s first gay sex symbols, politely turned down the request saying, "Guys, that is just in the movies, otherwise I am real shy and what will I wear if I give you mine." Instead, the actor gave away T-shirts to the crowd with his image on them, causing a mad rush as fans jumped and stepped over each other to grab the shirts being thrown into the crowd by Abraham. The 36-year-old actor, who already has legions of female fans, seems to have won over the men too with his brawny good looks as they screamed for the star to strip off his T-shirt. As the crowd chanted ’T-Shirt, T-Shirt’, some young guys jumped the barricade begging the star to give them the shirt off his back. From "Show Salman you are better than him" to "Dostana ki Jai Ho", the throng tried its best to get him to strip.

Neil Nitin Mukesh and his mentor /bade bhaiyya John Abraham are shooting at the same venue for two different films. But they aren’t meeting. The interesting part is the two adjacent sets at Nitin Mukesh’s studio in Karjat both represent huge prison sets.While Madhur Bhandarkar is shooting his prison film Jail on one prison set, nextdoor David Dhawan is shooting scenes in a prison with John Abraham for Hook Ya Crook. Desperate attempts are being made to keep the cast and crew of one separate from the other to ensure there’s no creative overlapping or duplicating from one to another. The fact that gym buddies John and Neil aren’t fraternizing although they are shooting a breath away from one another is ample proof that the two units have decided to stay away from one another with their respective prison secrets.


Innocent jailbird that he is Neil says from Karjat, “To be honest I have hardly had the chance to meet John here, although we’re shooting just a hop and skip away from one another. In all this time maybe we’ve met just once.” This, after spending all their free time together in Phildelphia when they were shooting for New York, and later in Mumbai where they even gymed together. Lekin bhai, creativity ka sawaal hai. Incidentally Kabir Khan’s New York has prison scenes where John is stripped naked and tortured for being a suspected terrorist. Neil in Jail heads gets into his birthday suit and is similarly tortured for crimes he hasn’t committed in Jail. After stripping down to bare minimum in Dostana , Bollywood’s pin-up boy John Abraham has now gone Full Monty for his next film.

John had minced no words in admitting in a recent interview that he is open to the idea of shedding all his clothes if a scene in the film requires him to do so. Well, it appears such a scene has finally found the actor.

Alas, it’s not a scene that would leave the girls swooning. The promos of director Kabir Khan’s upcoming film New York show John as a resident of the metropolis. He and Neil Nitin Mukesh play thick friends. But after the 9/11 attacks, the duo is picked up by the American cops and intelligence officers on the suspicion of terrorism and are tortured in custody.

There’s a shot that shows a completely naked John reclined in a fetal position and screaming out that he’s innocent.A source is quoted as saying that it is a part of the interrogation tactics to strip the suspect of all his clothes.

However, director Kabir Khan chooses to remain tightlipped about John’s nude scene and says people would have to watch the film to know its significance.

In the past, Rahul Bose has gone nude for Dev Benegal’s ‘English August’. Last year, exposed his derriere to the camera in a song in Saawariya but the shot was deleted in the final print.

Dhoni & John Abraham - Two popular hunks in one flick

It will be a double visual treat for all the female viewers to have two most popular hunks in one flick- Mahendra Singh Dhoni and John Abraham. The film is titlted ‘Hook Ya Crook’ and is inspired from the 1981 Hollywood film, ‘Escape To Victory’, which featured football star Pele. The film was about a group of prisoners escaping from a World War 2 prison camp while playing a football match. Writer Rensil D’Silva has adapted the film for an Indian audience. The prison set is currently being built by art director Samir Chanda in Hyderabad. ‘Hook Ya Crook’ is supposed to be an authentic cricket film with a huge cricket match as the climax. Dhoni has a full-fledged role in the film.

David Dhawan, the director of the film said, “Cricket does play a very important part in my film. This would be my most uncharacteristic film, very different from the comedies I am associated with. John Abraham and Uday Chopra will come together again after Dhoom. And Aditya Pancholi has a very important role. The audience will love him.”
