Celina Jaitley shared a happy news of her pregnancy!

Actress Celina Jaitley has recently shared a happy news of her pregnancy after her recent wedding with Peter Haag on 23rd July. Jaitley, who had announced her marriage and pregnancy on Twitter on October 17, and  is reportedly expecting twins.

Close friends of the couple have said that the two had actually not planned for a baby but had come to know about it when the two were in Dubai. Jaitley was down with food poisoning and was admitted to the hospital, where they had come to know about the good news.

The doctors had then immediately put the actress under observation to ensure the actress and the babies were fine. The friends of the two had also revealed that the actress was ten weeks pregnant will soon be returning to India. Jaitley is due to deliver in the month of April 2012 and will be going on maternity leave only a couple of months before her due date.

Celina had tied the knot with Peter Haag on 23rd July 2011 in Austria in a private ceremony.

Celina Jaitley announced her marriage on her site!

Celina Jaitley has announced her marriage to Dubai-based Austrian beau Peter Haag on her micro-blogging site.

Celina broke the news on Twitter and wrote: “Beloved tweeple. ..With great pleasure I would like to announce my wedding with @peterhaag on the 23rd of last month at a thousand year old monastery in Austria. We seek your blessings and good wishes, and apologize for the delayed announcement due to a family tragedy.”

She also posted a snapshot and said: Here is a picture of the most cherished moment of our lives. The picture features myself and my beloved husband, flanked by my dearest father-in-law to my left, and my brother-in-law to Peter’s right.

Celina Jaitley and Peter Haag have been together since one-and-a-half years now.

Celina Jaitley re-launches the Gay Magazine ‘Bombay Dost’

Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley has always been outspoken and has always stood up for the rights of the gay community. The actress has yet again done it for the gays by re launching India’s first registered Gay magazine called ‘Bombay Dost‘ at Oxford Bookstore, Churchgate. The host of the evening, Vivek Raj Anand, CEO of Humsafar Trust considered the moment overwhelming for the entire community as the defunct magazine was being relaunched in a bigger and bolder avatar after 7 long years. He called Celina as one of those rare angels who was beautiful through her actions too for openly embracing the community and helping it in everyway. Celina humbly asked everyone not to consider her action as a charitable act. She elaborated on how this is a human right for every individual and about gays deserving more than acceptance, the compassion and love of everyone; to be a part of ‘us’. She even generously volunteered to help the trust with her own finances until they could find more sponsors.

Prince Manavendra, the first person from a Royal family to be openly gay, was also introduced as a man who was called on the Oprah Winfrey show for showing the courage to break norms. Prince Manavendra also spoke about his first brush with Bombay Dost when he was still young and how that association has carried over 14 years, also resulting in the creation of Lakshya Trust. The event was concluded with the media interacting with the guests and answering media queries.

Celina Jaitley has start blogging

As we all know Celina Jaitley has start blogging on a leading website where she shares her thoughts on elections, the terror attack, security, the common man and myriad other issues which she feels she can contribute to.

Celina is the only Bollywood actor who is a Gay Right Activist and openly supports their stand. Having worked on development projects related to HIV and AIDS, the actress is all set to unleash her ideas and share her thoughts with like-minded people.

"I believe actions speak louder than words. As of today me and a couple of others have decided to start an initiation of ’Voting for none provision’ I am waiting for a party to see what really and genuinely it has to offer to me, I am waiting for a feeling of security within my own city, I am waiting to get a ration card and passport on time without red tapism, I am waiting for Homosexuality to be accepted legally, I am waiting for compensation to all who laid their lives, I am waiting for protection within 15 minutes of a terrorist attack, I am waiting to see my country at its full potential" Says the actress.

When we asked Celina about her recent venture she said, "I am very happy about the kind of response my blog has received. I have received an offer to write a column in a newspaper too. But all that kept that aside, I thank everyone for the feedback and response. I am happy about the fact that it motivated many. But will people’s response to this tragedy continue or will it fizzle out with time is my question and the next topic that I would write on. We have to hold together if we want a change in the system because I don’t want this fire to fizzle out."

Celina Jaitley's New Year bash in London

Bollywood bombshell Celina Jaitley is set to charm the Londoners in a New Year bash on December 31.

The glum mood is slowly waning away among Bollywood folks. While Malaika Arora would be flying to Singapore for a New Year performance at a hotel, Celina will head to usher in 2009 with Britons and Bollywood buffs at City Pavilion in London.

The event, named Celina Jaitley Nite, will also have on-stage performances by singer Javed Ali and rapper Rishi Rich.

However, Celina has made it clear in an interview that before her performance she wants to make sure certain things are in place. The actress says she wants to check the security arrangement and the ‘respectability’ of the event. The paycheck, of course, is of prime importance.

But how does Celina feel to be entertaining a crowd and celebrating the coming of a New Year when the pain of the Mumbai terror attacks has not yet faded away? In fact, many New Year bashes, featuring actresses like Katrina Kaif , have already been cancelled in Mumbai.

Celina says the Mumbai bashes were canceled not because the actresses wanted it but because the hotels scrapped the event. As for the terror attacks, Celina was one of the most forthcoming stars from tinsel town who open-heartedly expressed her sympathy with actor Ashish Choudhary who lost his kin in the attack. Moreover, Celina has already expressed her anger and condemnation over the attacks in an elaborate blog entry she wrote for a website.

So now, even as somber mood prevails in the tinsel town, someone has to keep the show going.

Celina Jaitley's narrow escape

Apparently Celina Jaitley could have been one of the victims of the terrible Mumbai terrorist attacks. But her instinct kind of came to her rescue.

She’s reportedly said, "It’s incredible. I felt I shouldn’t be going all the way to south Mumbai. On the way, I changed the venue."

She goes on to inform, "Barely an hour after I reached Four Seasons, the first news about what was going on in the city began filtering in. And to think that I could have been there too! I don’t even want to think about it."

Looks like going with her instinct helped the actress.She adds, "There was panic as news spread that five-star hotels were being targeted. We really didn’t know what was going on and where. All the diners at Four Seasons were told to stay put and the area around the hotel was cordoned off."

She further reveals, "But I was glued to the TV all night. I couldn’t sleep a wink. My dad was in a state of panic and kept on calling from Lebanon wondering what was happening to all of us! Throughout our ordeal, I was continuously in touch with my family and friends."
