The dashing Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is undergoing chemotherapy in Boston for a rare germ cell cancer, is almost done with his treatment as it ends in the coming four days.

Yuvraj Singh wrote on twitter: “My last stretch 4 mor dys to go Can't wait fr it to end Set me free dear lord livestrong yuvstrong” yuvi

And as we all know, Yuvraj Singh is one of the most loved cricketers by our Bollywood stars! When it was learnt that he was fighting cancer, wishes from B-town had started pouring in.

And now that his treatment is in the last leg, our on-screen stars are making sure they wish our on-field star all the best for the final stage! Sonakshi Sinha, who replied to Yuvraj Singh’s post on twitter in which he uploaded an image of himself on the hospital bed (see next page), wrote: “from the look of it, U are kicking chemo's ass!! Keep the spirit alive and get well soon”

Bipasha Basu also wrote to Yuvraj Singh: “Yuvi Rockstar! Strength Beyond Strength!More Power and Love to you!”

 

Sonakshi Sinha as brand ambassador of Fem!

There is no denying the fact that Sonakshi Sinha is perhaps the most promising new face in Bollywood this year. No wonder, she has become the most sought after name in the endorsement world.

So, now we have the Cosmetic brand Fem Fairness Bleach appoint Sonakshi Sinha as the brand ambassador of their product, ‘Fem’, which has been recently acquired by Dabur India. It may be mentioned here that Sonakshi has also been appointed as the brand ambassador for beauty soap ‘Dyna’ replacing Katrina Kaif.

“As a consumer, I have been associated with Dabur for years now. So, it gives me great pleasure to be associated with a large beauty brand with a stature of Fem and be the face for the brand,” said Sonakshi.

In her filmi career, Sonakshi is busy these days with Shirish Kunder’s “Joker” along with Akshay Kumar, an untitled film with Kamal Haasan, Race-2 with Saif Ali Khan, Dabangg-2 and Kick with Salman Khan.

The transition from a fashion designer to a debutante opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan  happened so fast that Sonakshi Sinha says she is still short for words.

Sonakshi who plays the coy Rajo in "Dabangg" releasing next month considers herself extremely lucky to be part of the project.

"Dabangg was a whole lot smoother process for me because Salman was there as a mentor and guide," she said.

"Most people opt for the glamour way to begin with but the role of Rajo was something I couldn't refuse.

Dabangg has been a perfect platform for me and very few people get that in their very first film," the 23-year-old actress said.

Sonakshi says the film is a perfect package with just the right producer, director, script, her co-star and mentor Salman Khan.

"Salman is an amazing co-star to have. Never once did he make me feel like a newcomer. He is always full of inputs, advice and inspiration. Our families have known each other for a while now so the comfort level has always been there. He has always pushed me to better myself in every way, be it fitness, acting and even overall personality," Sonakshi says.

Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of yesteryear’s actor Shatrughan Sinha, is all set to make her entry into showbiz and what could be a better launch that to be cast opposite Salman Khan himself. Salman has already been a launch pad for actresses like Sneha Ullal and Sonam Kapoor in ‘Lucky- No time for love’ and ‘Saawariyan’ respectively. Yes, the young actress is definitely lucky indeed to get to share screen space with Salman Khan in her very first film. The film which is a human relationship drama is yet untitled and is to be directed by Abhinav Kashyap (brother of Anurag Kashyap) and produced by Arbaaz Khan under his newly launched banner Arbaaz Khan Productions. The film is essentially a human relationship drama and is expected to go on floors in September. So, it is wait and watch for us to see if Sonakshi makes it big in this Bollywood like her father…..
