Ayesha Takia moves out!

Ayesha Takia has been basking in the glory of Wanted, in which she starred opposite Salman Khan. However, the actress is not keen on more success in Bollywood. Yes, after having married hotelier Farhan Azmi last year, the actress decided to call it quits where acting is concerned.

On the other hand, Ayesha is all set to take a new avatar. She will be joining her husband in expanding the hotel business, sources say. If this is true, then Ayesha’s last film would be Paathshala.

Ayesha Takia is planning to dress up the world with her imagination, by launching her own designer label. Looks like the actress is keeping busy after marriage, apart from helping her restaurateur husband Farhan Azmi set up his boutique hotel, Ayesha is also thinking on the lines of opening her own designer label.

It is being reported that Ayesha, is working on launching her fashion line. She is thinking on the lines of opening her fashion store, as she was always interested in designing even before films. But somehow her designing took a backseat to films, even though Ayesha kept the inner designer alive by giving her own inputs to the designers in films.

Ayesha is planning to start-up on her own range of exclusive designer range that will feature high-end fashion to even an affordable clothing line, a mixture of class and style.

And meanwhile what is hubby Farhan doing?

Well its heard that Farhan is supporting Ayesha by giving her tremendous encouragement and oodles of moral support.

The designer plan surely spells like Ayesha is planning to take a retirement from films; too bad just when she was carving a name for herself as an actress, Ayesha decides to turn into a Fashion Designer. Quite fumbling, must say.

Ayesha Takia was supposed to wed restaurateur Farhan Azmi on Christmas Eve but her wedding has now been postponed to mid-2009. All this thanks to the terror attacks in Mumbai. The groom, Farhan confirmed the news saying,”Ayesha is currently in Greece shooting a song for Boney Kapoor’s Wanted. The groom-to-be confirms, “When Ayesha heard the news of the attacks, she broke down. Dad (SP party leader Abu Azmi), was in a hospital recuperating from an operation; he too started crying when he heard about the terrorist attacks. None of us are in the mood for any celebrations this year. Our mood is too grim and somber. There can be no wedding celebrations as of now maybe mid-2009 and that too it will be a small and private affair.”

Farhan adds, “We are all shaken up by what happened. I saw it happening next door, as Nariman House is seven buildings away from our home and very close to the Taj and Oberoi hotels. When the Oberoi was sealed, many guests came from there to Koyla and CafÃ© Basilico (both owned by Farhan). None wanted to stay, so I took them home. On the first night from Koyla, which is 500m away from the Taj, we could see the fire burning on the sixth floor and hear women and children screaming to be let out ‘please help us’… It still gives me goose bumps to even think about it.”

Ayesha had informed all her producers and directors that she will quit acting after she gets married and she intended to wrap all her committments before December.
