Kangna Ranaut demand extra money for ‘Rascals’!

Kangna Ranaut is refusing to finish dubbing for Rascals. The actress recently left the studio midway demanding extra monetary compensation for David Dhawan’s comic caper. Sources state the actress was signed for R 75 lakh (which has already been paid to her) as well as an additional R 5 lakh. She is now demanding for Rs 10 lakh more. Incidentally, Rascals has been produced by her estranged pal Sanjay Dutt (who also stars in the film) along with Sanjay Ahluwalia and Vinay Choksey.

Ahluwalia confirms, “Kangna has left her dubbing incomplete for the movie. She suddenly decided to walk away after dubbing for a while. We are lodging a complaint with the Cine And TV Artistes Association (CINTAA).”

Kangana Ranaut first time pairing with Sunny!

Sunny Deol’s last delivery ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ was a moderate success in box-office and so was Kangana Ranaut’s recent release ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. Now, the two actors come together for the first time as the lead pair of T-series production ‘Happy New Year’ which has already commenced its shooting. The movie is being directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru and produced by Bhushan Kumar. Radhika and Vinay had directed Salman Khan’s ‘Lucky- No Time for Love’ which had bombed at the box-office.

Besides, south Indian actor Madhavan is also playing an important role in it. The film, which will be an out and out romantic one, will also be shot in Chicago.

Kangana Ranaut charges 5 crores

Kangana Ranaut has made her mark in Bollywood with her commendable performances in critically acclaimed film like ‘Gangster’ and ‘Woh Lamhe’ and after winning a National Award for her performance in ‘Fashion’, there has been no stopping for the girl.

Grapevines have it that the makers of her forthcoming film have agreed to pay her 5 crores for her forthcoming film. The flick is to be directed by Tanvir Khan, who last directed Deadline. It sure can be said that now the directors have realized her potential and have no qualms in giving her the fee she deserves.”

 

However, Kangana, on her part, said, “I can’t discuss my fee.”

Kangana Ranaut receives love mail

At times Bollywood stars have to face some of the problems due to some star-struck fans. Recently the gorgeous actress Katrina Kaif’s fan committed suicide just for the fact that he was unable to meet his favourite star. And now another actress Kangana Ranaut had to face the problems due to a fan of her.

A young fan reportedly went on a hunger strike and demanded to meet “Kangana Ranaut” because he wanted to hand over a personal letter to her.

Sources disclose that the guy in question hung around Leena Mogre’s gym where Kangana goes for exercises regularly. However, the security guards at the gym did not allow him to endeavour anywhere close to the actress.

Well, how long this strike of the fan will continue only time will tell but in the meantime Kangana would be feeling happy for herself as her fan following is increasing day by day.

Kangana left out of Kites moment at Cannes

Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori hogged the limelight at the Cannes red carpet for upcoming film Kites but Kangana Ranaut, who plays a pivotal role in the film, was not invited for the event. Producer Rakesh Roshan has cited a last minute plan as the reason for the miss. "Kangana was not told to accompany Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik (Roshan) and Anurag Basu although the director is very close to her and in fact, was instrumental in recommending her for the role in Kites. We believe the team wanted to focus on the Hrithik-Barbara pair to give Kites a more international crossover appeal at Cannes," a source close to Kangana told IANS. Basu had cast Kangana in films like Gangster - A Love Story and Life In A... Metro.

Rakesh Roshan, his son Hrithik Roshan and Basu have returned to Mumbai from Cannes while Barbara Mori has gone back to Mexico - all are content with the way the nine-minute trailer of Kites has been received at the international jamboree. But doesn’t it appear strange that the film’s leading lady was left out at such an important event? When questioned, Rakesh Roshan washed his hands off the matter, saying: "We ourselves were not sure till the last minute who was going or not. Even my brother Rajesh Roshan, who has done the Kites music, was left out because of the last-minute flurry. I think our co-producers Big Pictures would be the best people to comment on why Kangana couldn’t go." When contacted, a representative of Big Pictures said: "I think Mr. Rakesh Roshan would be able to comment on why Kangana wasn’t at Cannes."

Kangana and Adhyayan were locked in their vanity van

It was too much for Emraan Hashmi and he stormed out of the sets of ‘Raaz 2’ when he was kept waiting on the sets while Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman were locked in their vanity van. The duo had been there for about two hours despite the fact that they were required for the shoot. Initially, Emraan waited patiently for them. Director Mohit Suri also sent some production guys to knock on the vanity van’s door to remind them of the shoot. But when the wait stretched for over two hours, Emraan was fuming and unstoppable. He abandoned the sets leaving the shoot in a huff.

When Kangana and Adhyayan realized their folly, they were embarrassed and apologized profusely but Emraan had already left the sets.
