Shruti Hassan is fearing for her lips

Shruti Hassan is living in constant fear these days. The actress is scared ever since it has been decided that she will be paired opposite Emraan Hashmi in Madhur Bhndarkar's upcoming film.

On one side Shruti is excited for the fact that the film with Madhur will give her a new foothold in Bollywood. It must be mentioned that her earlier film with Soham Shah - LUCK was a box-office disaster.

Now, bagging Madhur Bhandarkar's film is not without its quota of concern for the actress. Shruti is scared of the fact that Emraan Hashmi might do to her what he is famous for. And as we all know, Emraan is addicted to his heroine's lips and that's why he is called the serial kisser.

Shruti Hassan made her big Bollywood debut with ‘Luck’ with Imran Khan but apparently her ‘luck’ did not favour her and the film bombed at the box office but this is anyway has not disheartened Shruti.

Shruti calls her father Kamal Hassan as her support system. She says, “I want to explore the whole world and I have my daddy’s full cooperation in this. I have self-drawn boundaries which I’d never attempt to cross.”

Shruti is also fond of Kamal Hassan’s prsent partner Gauthami and this does not go down well with her mom Saarika which has resulted in a situation that the two are not in talking terms with each other. Says Shruti, “My mother doesn’t like my friendship with Gauthami Madam. She is angry with me because of this count and avoids speaking to me. I’m not bothered about that.”

Imran and Shruti launches ‘luck’ based game site

The entire cine goers clan, the Bollywood fraternity along with Kamal Hassan wait with baited breath as newbie Shruti Hassan makes her grand debut with ‘Luck’ opposite Imran Khan. The on-screen chemistry between the couple as seen in the trailers and in the promotional events looks promising. Also, Shruti get to show some of her versatility as she does some karate and martial arts rounds in the flick with veterans like Sanjay Dutt and Danny Denzongpa.

The makers of the film are leaving no stones unturned in promoting their venture. Apart from appearances in TV shows and radio station, Imran and Shruti were seen launching the luck based game site at JW Marriot, Juhu, Mumbai on Wednesday. Check out some clicks from the event.

 

All eyes on Shruti Haasan

Shruti hassan in bikini "I am not scared, but I am excited for sure," Shruti Haasan's confidence is infectious. The pretty girl makes her debut in LUCK [slated for release next Friday], which will decide her future steps in Bollywood. Not many are aware that it was Imran Khan who recommended her name to director Soham Shah.

"Imran and I have been friends for a long time and when Soham narrated the story, I decided to give it a try. I took up the assignment because I feel it's not one of those routine stories. It's not one of those films where the girl doesn't get any scope or is sidelined," Shruti tells me. But there were news-reports that Shruti would debut in a Tamil film with Madhavan. "Yes, I was supposed to, but things didn't work out," she adds.

Shruti says her parents were very supportive when she told them of the offer she had received [LUCK]. But was she nervous when she shot with Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa, veterans all? "In fact, they were co-operation personified. Everyone knew that this was my debut film and were patient all through the shoot," she reveals.

But the portions she enjoyed most were the action sequences. "I was looking forward to enacting the stunts and would you believe it, I did all my stunts myself. I really enjoyed the experience," Shruti divulges.

Shruti will do it in style and will be seen in some sizzling bikini shots. Shruti said she had no qualms about donning a bikini as the script demanded it. Shruti who shot in a two piece in the ice cold temperature of Cape Town added that it was like any other scene and she felt no difference.

Buzz up!Shruti said she knew about such scenes as soon as she heard the script. The bold character that she plays in the movie demanded a few bold scenes. The scene involved Imran Khan, Ravi Kissen and Mithun Chakraborty. Interestingly Shruti's bikini has been designed by Soham's wife Binal Shah. Well seems like Shruti wants to head up Bollywood with her debut movie.

What we are saying is that, Prakash Jaju, Priyanka’s in-famous ex-secretary, with whom the ex-Miss World fought a bitter court battle (Jaju ultimately ended up in jail), is now handling the dates of Shruti Hassan . This means that all the producers who wish to sign Shruti would now have to contact Prakash Jaju, who in turn would allot her dates.


Credit must be given to Prakash for bouncing back like this and the fact is that the way he handled the early days of Priyanka’s career, worked well in their favour. And so it seems that the worst is over for this shrewd secretary, now that he has a client like the promising Shruti Hassan, who comes from such a royal lineage. Those following the proceedings in Bollywood will know that Shruti Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan and the still beautiful veteran actress Sarika, is a new entrant to the world of Hindi films and is making her debut with Shree Ashtavinayak’s Soham Shah directed LUCK, opposite the JAANE TU...YA JAANE NA star Imran Khan along with Sanjay Dutt and Ravi Kissen.

Shruthi makes debut as music director

Here is the latest update on Kamal Hassan’s forthcoming film Thalaivan Irukkindran.According to the sources, Kamal’s daughter Shruthi Hassan is going to provide the background score for this film.


The buzz is that she will do the background score for this film. In addition to that Shruthi will do a music video, for the television promo of the film.


Thalaivan Irukkindran is a joint venture by Rajkamal and UTV, and is expected to start by the end of the month after certain issues are sorted out. Originally, the launch of the film was slated for March 9th.
