Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor just turned 31 on Feb 25 and boy what a celebration he had in Goa.
Shahid had planned a four-day birthday bash with few close friends and took off for Goa on Feb 22. Besides the sea, sand and the Goan sun they had the company of skimpily clad bikini babes around them.
Shahid certainly welcomed his 31st with loads of fun and in style. "Just spent the last 2 days with 30 of the maddest funnest people ......... Great to feel friendship love real smiles n joy with those who Matter .......... Will miss u goa ..... U really r special ...... Home to family now," Shahid wrote on Twitter.
Good friend Atul Kasbekar also accompanied Shahid along with Kunal Kohli, Siddharth Anand, Siddharth Malhotra, Mubina Rattonsey, Anjali Lavania. Shahid's new friend Nargis Fakhri was there to have some fun.
Atul Kasbekar has been busy uploading pictures of the birthday boy on his social networking profile Twitter.
The pictures reveal Shahid is not the only one who is having a gala time on the four day and three night long bash in Morjim beach. And for sure they had a wild time partying.
"@shahidkapoor whattey trip. Thank u for the most amazing time. And a happy happy again", wrote Atul Kasbekar on Twitter.

After the recent reports of Shahid Kapoor kissing actress Anushka Sharma in the balcony at the party thrown by Imran Khan on 12th October, Shahid had shown his anger on Twitter. Kapoor had slammed the reports and had criticized the way the journalists had criticized the way the news was sensationalized.
Shahid took his Twitter account and went on to say that the reports were extremely distasteful, sad and unfair. The actor added that some of the journalists need draw a line between imagination and reality.
Kapoor had said that it had made him angry and added that the journalists could have at least had some respect for the girl (Anushka).
Shahid also said that usually, he does not respond to such reports, but this was bit too much. Some of the earlier reports had said that Shahid and Anushka had landed up kissing each other passionately in the balcony of Imran’s residence and had also made the other guests uncomfortable.
There even came a point when one of the celebrity guests had to intervene them and warn them that the journalists were still down stairs after which they had came back inside.
Mausam debuts with Rs 9 crs at Box Office

Despite getting unfavourable reviews from film critics, Pankaj Kapoor's first directorial movie Mausam has got a grand welcome at the Box Office. According to reports, Shahid-Sonam Kapoor starrer has scored approximately Rs 9 crores on the first day of its release. This is the biggest opening for a Shahid Kapoor’s film.
Mausam, which has been made with a budget of Rs 35 crore, was released in around 1,900 theatres and it has got an average of 50 to 60% occupancy. The movie was estimated to gross Rs 24 crores in the first three days, but opening day collection, which is Rs 9 crores, shows that it will go beyond its estimated figures.
Mausam has done the best collection when compared to Shahid Kapoor’s previous movies. Yash Raj Films' Badmaash Company had done a net business of approximately Rs 13 crore in its opening weekend, while UTV Motion Pictures' Kaminey earned approximately Rs Rs 17 crore in the first week.
However, Mausam has beaten this week’s other releases like Speedy Singhs and U R My Jaan. Other two films have got decent reviews from film critics, but they have got a poor response at the collection centres.

Shahid Kapoor has just escaped a fatal accident!

Actor Shahid Kapoor has just escaped a fatal accident on the set of his father Pankay Kapoor’s directional debut, ‘Mausam’, he was left with a shoulder injury. The accident happened when a Ferris-wheel came hurling down towards Shahid and injuring his right arm. The accident could have proved fatal if Shahid did not move out.
Narrating the accident, a source said, "Yes, Shahid is injured and has hurt his right shoulder and arm. But it could`ve been worse. If he hadn`t moved out in time his face would`ve taken the brunt. Pankajji just couldn`t move. He was transfixed staring at his son. Shahid kept assuring everyone he was fine until the doctor arrived."
Producer Sheetal Talwar said, "It was a nightmare for all of us. And I'd rather not talk about it. Miraculously, Shahid was saved. No, it wasn't the whole Ferris wheel; just one of the boxes came loose."

They may try their best to dodge the paparazzi but can’t keep the truth hidden for long. So much of newsprint has been consumed by speculations on the relationship between Priyanka Chopra and her Kaminey co-star Shahid Kapoor, but the picture wasn’t clear, until now, that is.
On her flight to Brazil to shoot her ‘reality’ show Khatron Ke Khiladi, Priyanka was seen stepping out of Shahid Kapoor’s black and amply spacious Range Rover at the international airport in Mumbai on Monday night.
Obviously, the duo did not want the press to get a whiff of the fact that Shahid had come to drop Priyanka off. When the Range Rover wheeled in the airport complex, Shahid must have spotted the media at Terminal A where Priyanka was supposed to alight. So the Range Rover speeded to Terminal B where Priyanka stepped out quietly and rushed to Terminal A to give the impression that she had come on her own.
But the eagle-eyed paparazzi did manage to click the Range Rover and no surprises for guessing that its number matches that of Shahid’s car.
Priyanka is off to Brazil for a month and we guess the two lovers needed as much quality time together as they could squeeze out.

Priyanka Chopra seems to be very hurt because of her friendship

Priyanka Chopra had been good friends with Mubina who was Shahid Kapoor’s close friend. But then as people say love comes between friendship.
As reported earlier, Mubina and Shahid were at one point more than close friends, but that was before he got into a relationship with Priyanka.
Mubina was close to both Shahid and Priyanka. But this awkward proximity caused more harm than good. Sources revealed that Shahid never liked Priyanka’s growing friendship with Mubina. During the period they were seeing each other, they had fought about this because Shahid believed Mubina would try to influence Priyanka against him. After their break up, Priyanka continued her friendship with Mubina. In fact they got even closer and Priyanka would often confide in her.
It is believed that whatever Priyanka was saying to Mubina didn’t remain just between them. Recently Priyanka discovered that certain things she had told Mubina about Shahid were reaching him and this really irritated her. She confronted Mubina the first time this happened but she denied leaking out information. But it happened again and Priyanka just decided to stop confiding things to Mubina.
So now the former friends are keeping their distance. Priyanka surely seems to be very hurt with the incident and feels her trust to be broken.

Shahid Kapoor seems to be on a joy ride these days. He is not the old Shahid anymore who was once just latching. On to his famous superstar girlfriend Kareena Kapoor for getting a part of her “over-the-top” limelight. He has reinvented himself.
Shahid already had the exceptional chocolate boy appearance to his credit but that was not matched by box office success. But, lately lady luck has smiled on him with hits like “Jab We Met” and the underdog movie “Kaminey.”
I was just myself and success happened. In the latest interview , the actor said that he was happy with his frequently changing appearances.
He has appeared on the show two times previously and every time he was sporting a new look.
When quizzed by the host "Swati" about the same, he politely replied that he has been trying to operate things for him in a distinct way and it should not be looked upon as re-invention, as it is commonly called by media.
He likes frequent experimentation with his looks for his roles. He was asked by the anchor on his reaction to the actors aged more than 40 trying to get flaunt-able six pack abs. He said that he was also pretty impressed with the all the three Khans bringing the concept of six pack abs to Bollywood.
Hair it comes, Hair it goes
In fact, everyone is so impressed with the Kapur lad these days that director Vishal Bhardwaj has remarked that Shahid can be a mega-star if he stops devoting all that extra attention to his countenance and hair.
However, ironically, Vishal was the one who suggested Shahid to grow his long hair for Kaminey. Kaminey will be remembered as one of the landmark movies in Shahid’s career because he looked so different in it.
But, Shahid believes that script is the pivotal determinant of the success of a movie. For him, the different, long haired look of Kaminey was just aimed to stun the audiences and attract them towards the movie halls.
In conclusion, Shahid according to himself, is a director’s man and now, his hair has been cut quite short, as insisted by his directors.

Well, we can’t question Shahid Kapoor’s credibility as a dancer; the lad can shake his leg not just in denims but in a lungi as well. Yes, you can catch him doing a hottie-naughty dance in his next Chance Pe Dance.
The movie shows him as a struggler who wants to make it big in the film industry. This particular scene has Shahid shooting for a lungi ad. The set for the scene is designed in a 1980s style with all colourful pots and bright flags arranged in a row. Shahid also flaunts a thick moustache and is dressed in a tacky yellow-coloured shirt and a deep blue lungi, as he shows some jhatkas-matkas.
As reported, the lungi brand has a funny name that came from director Ken Ghosh’s agile mind - ‘Airtime lungis.’

As Shahid replaces, Deepika Padukone whose contract with Levi’s got over last year in December, this becomes Shahid’s biggest ever endorsement deal. This time, the brand was on the lookout for a male ambassador. However, Akshay Kumar is still the Levi’s 501 ambassador.
With this, Shahid becomes the second male ambassador of Levi’s after Akshay Kumar who is still the Levi’s 501 ambassador. Other female actresses who have represented the brand include Sushmita Sen and Kangana Ranaut.

Shahid Kapoor is all set promote safe sex with his latest song in Kaminey whose lyrics caution about the deadly AIDS. The song is filmed in the red light areas and lays emphasis on using condoms and having safe sex. A source says, “Sukhwinder Singh lent his voice to this song and the lyrics go: Bhawra aaya aayaa re, gun gun karta aayaa re … Yeh ishq nahih aasan, AIDS ka khatra hai … pathwar pehen kar jaana- yeh aag ka dariya hai. Shahid’s character in Kaminey is involved in social service. So he walks into a red light area with a red ribbon around his neck and that’s when he starts singing the song. The promos of the song will be aired in August.” The lyrics of the songs has been written by the director himself - Vishal Bharadwaj.

Shahid Kapoor is all set to portray his real life passion on screen - Dancing. The hunk will be seen as dancer in his next flick Yahoo.
Designer Shabina Khan reveals, “In Yahoo, Shahid is playing a rookie who wants to become a great dancer. The story moves around his struggle period and how he becomes a dancer.”
When quizzed about Shahid’s look in the movie, she reveals, “It is a boy next door look. Keeping in mind he is a dancer, I have designed his clothes. So he will be seen wearing casual T-Shirts and Jeans.”
Shahid will also be seen sporting a new tanned look for the movie and also has lost oodles of weight for the role.Shahid reveals, “I had to lose a lot of my muscle mass as dancers have lean bodies. My work out schedule had to be changed and instead of weights, I am doing more of cardio.” Yahoo will release in 2009.
Shahrukh dreams of a movie with Aamir

What is the perfect formula for success in Bollywood? Have Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan in the same frame. This may come true as King Khan has expressed his desire to work with the Perfectionist Khan in a movie. In a recent statement SRK said that he would like to star in a movie with Aamir in future as both of them are still young and well shaped bodies to play lead roles in the movie.

Shahid Kapoor packs up after bomb blasts

Following serial blasts, the film’s shoot was forced to end abruptly. Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminay shoot had to be cancelled on Wednesday and Thursday night because of the serial blasts. The director says, "We were shooting a traffic jam scene for Kaminey at Horniman Circle, which is a couple of minutes away from Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST).We crossed CST at 9.45 pm and headed for the circle. While the men were putting up the lights, we heard firing and explosions close by. We decided to cancel the shoot immediately around 10.30 pm and head home."
According to Vishal, his leading actor Shahid Kapoor had reached the shoot by then. "Shahid left a little ahead of me.It was a war-like situation on the streets of Mumbai. As we reached Marine Drive there were lots of police vehicles with guns pointed at us. It was terrifying!" As Vishal and Shahid crossed Marine Drive and Girgaum Chowpatty they heard firing behind them. Vishal says, "I could feel something was going to happen at Marine Drive. Later, when I reached home, I heard a couple of terrorists got killed at Girgaum. Again we got saved..."
Vishal reached home around 2 am. "There were policemen with guns everywhere. It was scary! I have seen check- posts but not police aiming guns at all the cars. We have shot such scenes in films but watching it live is something else altogether. At one check naka, they stopped my car and started asking all sorts of questions.I had to take out my ID card and one of the police officers recognised me and let me go," Vishal shudders with relief. We had a unit of almost 300 people and 50 cars as it was a traffic jam sequence with lots of cars and everyone was packed off home. Fortunately, each and every unit member reached home safely. My wife Rekha was to join us on the shoot but had to cancel her plans. We are all lucky that we got saved.
Sania Mirza dumps Shahid Kapoor

Shahid and Sania were said to be seeing each other though they did not declare their relationship. They were spotted going out together many a time. Sania often visited the sets of Shahid's films.
