Salman, SRk for Dhoom 4 and 5!

Yashraj Films is planning to take Dhoom series to a new level! They have already started Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan, who is going to play a stylish baddie for the first time in the film. And now reports have it that the forthcoming Dhoom 4 and 5 will have Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan playing the villains in the two parts, respectively.

Can anything sound better than this? As a daily reports, Aditya Chopra has planned to wrap up the franchise with the fifth part, and has already decided to cast Salman Khan in the fourth part and YRF’s blue-eyed man Shahrukh Khan in the fifth. However, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue to play their respective roles of Inspector Jai Dixit and his sidekick Ali. Director of Dhoom 3, Vijay Krishna Acharya of Tashan fame, will be working on the script for both the sequels.

Moreover, there is a great piece of news for the Salman Khan fans. Salman has reportedly discussed Dhoom 4 with Aditya Chopra and has agreed to do it.

“Salman Khan wanted to work in a stylish action film. And Adi had discussed the possibility of Dhoom 4 with him. Salman had agreed. That’s how they ended up working on Ek Tha Tiger. The script of Dhoom 4 is already locked,” a source shares the tidbit with a daily.

But it seems there is more to Aditya Chopra’s big plans. As for now, we don’t want to be a killjoy for Salman and Shahrukh’s fans.

After undergoing a nerve surgery in United States, actor Salman Khan return...Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who flew to the US for nerve surgery, is back in town for a few days and attended the launch Thursday of reality show 'Bigg Boss 5'.

The actor, who is a host on the show with actor Sanjay Dutt, looked quite fit at the event.

Asked about his surgery, Salman told reporters: 'The surgery was good. This is not the kind of surgery where you go once and you become completely fine. You recover 50 percent at one go.'

'I had become much better but Dublin's (Ireland) cold has created problems for me so now I'm still only 60 percent recovered. I have to go back after three-four months for a test and if that gets cleared, I will be 100 percent fine. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and wishes,' he added.

Salman had left for US Aug 29 for a surgery for trigeminal neuralgia, a nerve disorder that used to cause him immense pain.

After few days the actor is expected to return to Dublin, where he is shooting for Kabir Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger'.

All is well between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan!

Katrina Kaif, who had earlier said that she’s grateful to the Khan family for being so generous to her when she entered the industry, seems to be in a mood to return the favour.

So she shot a song for free in Atul Agnihotri’s film, “Bodyguard”. The song which goes, Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard…, is touted as Katrina’s first item number, post the very successful Sheila Ki Jawani.

Though there is every chance that the song would surely add to the entertainment value of the movie, some things clearly go beyond money for the actress.

Producer Atul Agnihotri confirms, “It is very gracious of her to have done this. She has always been very supportive of our work and is ready to contribute in whatever way possible”.

Interestingly, this is not the only time Katrina Kaif has gone that extra mile to keep up her friendship with the Khan family.

Atul further adds, “We have all known her for years now and she is part of our family. Even in my earlier movie Hello, she had to do a guest appearance and did it free of cost”.

Though Salman Khan has admitted to not really having watched a single movie of Katrina’s, the actress makes sure she invites Salman’s sister Alvira for every special screening of her movies.

According to a source, “Just before the release of her movie Raajneeti, even when rumours were rife that all is not well between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan, she made sure she invited Alvira for her preview”.

Salman Khan Refuse To Perform With Katrina Kaif

Salman Khan, who is currently shooting in Bangkok for “Ready”, has opted out of the closing ceremont of the 34th National Games show at Ranchi, to be held on Saturday 26 February.
The actor sent a word to the origanizers saying her will not be available on that day. Incidentally, Salman Khan’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif and his ‘good friend’, German model Claudia Ciesla will perform at the same show. Meanwhile, Claudia has started participating in the Shahrukh Khan Zor Ka Jhatka, an episode with he rwas aired on 12 February.

The show happens to be hosted by Shahrukh Khan, not believed to be very thick with Salman. Confirming that the actor will not make it to show, a source says, “Sallu may have not wanted to share the stage with Katrina”.

We hear, Salman opted out of the show saying that he will not fly down from Bangkok as was planned earlier and that he was too busy shooting there. When contacted, Katrina told, “Yes I am performing, as it was decided two months ago. I was always going to do it. Nodbody else was”.

However, Claudia confirmed that Salman Khan was supposed to perform at Ranchi on 26 February but added, rather diplimatically, “Salman was supposed to come and I know that he is not coming now. But I really donot know why he backed out”.

At the time of going to press, Salman’s spokesperson called and said, “It was never ever discussed, leave alone committed. He was always meant to be in Bangkok for Ready around this time”.

The transition from a fashion designer to a debutante opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan  happened so fast that Sonakshi Sinha says she is still short for words.

Sonakshi who plays the coy Rajo in "Dabangg" releasing next month considers herself extremely lucky to be part of the project.

"Dabangg was a whole lot smoother process for me because Salman was there as a mentor and guide," she said.

Dabangg has been a perfect platform for me and very few people get that in their very first film," the 23-year-old actress said.

"Salman is an amazing co-star to have. Never once did he make me feel like a newcomer. He is always full of inputs, advice and inspiration. Our families have known each other for a while now so the comfort level has always been there. Clashes between Aishwarya and Salman Khan

Buzz is that Atul Agnihotri’s remake of the South movie “Bodygraud” with brother in law Salman Khan will star Deepika Padukone. Katrina Kaif was Atul’s first choice but Sallu feels the Om Shanti Om girl is more apt for the role.

A source says, “Salman is keen on working with Deepika Padukone. He feels they will look good on screen. When Atul suggested Katrina’s name, he shot it down saying the project needed a fresh pairing. He’s watched the original and thought Deepika Padukone would fit the role perfectly”. Both Sallu and Deepika have had opportunities to work together in the past. The star wanted to work with her in Anees Bazmee’s “Ready”, but talks fizzled out and Asin stepped in.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were last seen together in Yuvraaj. Even though the movie did not work at the Box office, they had offers to work together. However, both chose not to work opposite each other. While Salman Khan signed Zarine Khan for his home production “Veer”, Katrina went on a signing spree with Ranbir Kapoor.

The source adds that the star is keen on repeating Zarine Khan in  Sajid Nadiadwala’s “Kick”. Source says, “He is keen on signing new talent as opposed to working with the same faces”. Atul remained unavailable for comment. A young man who is attracted to people with heroic qualities and follows them like a bodyguard. But the twist comes when he is hired to accompany a businessman’s gorgeous daughter to college as a bodyguard.

The Malayalam film “Bodyguard” features Dilip and Nayantara. Its Tamil version is being made with Asin and Vijay.

Recently she arranged a show of her latest hit Raajneeti for Salman’s dad, the renowned scriptwriter Salim Khan and the entire family…minus Salman, who maintains his clean slate vis-à-vis Katrina’s work.

After tweeting to the entire world that he would definitely like to see Raajneeti and raising Katrina’s hopes, that he’d finally watch one of her films, Salman stayed away from the special screening of Raajneeti while the rest of the family saw and enjoyed the film.

Director Prakash Jha confirms that Salim saw the film in a show arranged by Katrina. “Salim Saab was full of praise for Raajneeti .He specially praised the dialogues which coming from him was a great compliment. Earlier Salim Saab had said what he and Javed Akhtar Saab wrote as a cop’s story in Zanjeer was nowhere near the authenticity of my cop’s story, Gangaa Jal. He’s a generous man.”

Salim Khan’s generosity was also evident in the call he made to Katrina praising her mature and restrained performance in Raajneeti. About arranging the special show of Raajneeti for Salman’s family after they’ve apparently split, Katrina sighed, “I wish all these speculations on my personal life would end. Salman’s family is the only family I’ve known in Mumbai. That can’t change. Of course I wanted Salim Saab to see Raajneeti for a very special reason. He has seen my struggle in Bollywood from the start. He’s very proud of me.”

This sequel will have Salman Khan playing he villain which will surpass the original Amrish Puri’s role in villainy. The movie will be a 3D one with SFX effects and topline technology.

Boney Kapoor intends on leaving no stones unturned for making it big this time. He says, “It’s true that the budget has shot up to Rs100 crore, as I intend to make the sequel in 3D. I’m bringing down technicians from abroad to create Salman’s ‘look’ for ‘Mr.India 2′. It’s something that has never been attempted on this scale before. It’s a big challenge for me to present Salman in negative role. And I’m sure that it’ll be a role that will be remembered for a very long time.”

Since, Sallu Bhai is no longer interested in chocolate boy roles, hope this project gives him a relief after burning fingers with the disaster ‘Veer’.

Asin replaced Deepika?

Has Asin replaced Deepika Padukone in writer director Anees Bazmi’s next film with Salman Khan? Bollywood is abuzz that Asin has at last signed her third film by replacing Deepika in the film.

The grapevine has it that Salman called up the producers T Series and director Bazmee to replace Deepika with Asin. Salman and Asin are said to have become close during the making of their London Dreams, which however bombed.

 

A source also said that Salman is trying to woo back Asin to Bollywood as she is all set to go back to Kollywood and act opposite Vijay in the Tamil remake of Siddique’s Malayalam Bodyguard from April 1.

By now you must have got the breaking news that Sahara Group won the bid for the IPL team Pune for a staggering $370 million yesterday. Along with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor there was another Bollywood couple who participated in the bid. Both Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were present in Chennai for the bidding of the new IPL teams but they placed the bids separately.

The Barbie doll of Bollywood was there representing Matrix along with the Adani Group from Ahmedabad and was vying for Pune team, as was Salman. However, Salman made a separate bid. Why?

Katrina clarified this to a tabloid: “I wasn’t bidding with Salman…I was not bidding at all. Salman had put in a separate bid.”

But as things turned out, none from Bollywood could grab the golden opportunity of owning an IPL team.

Salman, who was quite confident about his win, reportedly had a party planned back at home to celebrate the victory. Par yeh ho na saka. And the man is now reportedly upset, and suspects “foul play by vested interests.”

Talking about Salman Khan, the rash boy is once again in news for a wrong reason.

When a lady reporter asked some questions to Salman, his unruly bodyguards misbehaved with the reporter and pushed her aside in an undignified manner. The lady screamed in retort, “Don’t you have any brains?” At this, Salman’s bouncer hurled an abuse to her instead of apologizing for his behaviour.

The incident reached its peak when Salman Khan turned, laughed sarcastically at the reporter and walked away saying, “Have the abuses been recorded?”

This incident has surely come as a shock for his fans and is surely being criticized by all and sundry. It may be mentioned here that recently, when Katrina Kaif’s bodyguards had pushed a reporter, the lady had turned and apologized to the reporter asking him if he was hurt. She also rebuked her bodyguards and asked them to be careful hence.

It is high time Salman Khan learns some courtesy and modesty from his lady love!!!

The actor and the Bachchan patriarch Amitabh Bachchan and other Bollywood stars have joined hands to present 'Star CINTAA Superstars ka Jalwa', an entertainment extravaganza which will raise money for the welfare of Cine and TV artists.

 

Star India Network and Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) have collaborated for a charitable contribution to provide the association's members with medical services, rehearsal halls and preview theatres.

"I am very happy to be here and be a part of this spectacular event that will not only entertain the audience but will also encourage a noble cause. I have been a part of Bollywood for over 20 years now and I owe every bit of my success to this Industry," Salman said at a press conference.

Star CINTAA Superstars Ka Jalwa will have six episodes and the first episode will be aired on March 21 at 9 pm.

I want to play all kinds of roles and get into the kind of attire that a Hindi film heroine is required to wear.

“However, before that I will have to get rid of all the excess weight that I currently have on me. It’s just a few more pounds to go and after that it should all be well.”

“Whatever role that I consent to play, it has to be done with dedication. However, I’m a new entrant and there are so many established actresses who are taking the size zero route. Obviously, I can’t beat them due to my body structure, but I wish to get into shape to the best of my ability.”

The song, titled ‘Munni Badnaam Hui Darling Tere Liye’, has been choreographed by Farah Khan. It will be shot in a set resembling a rugged, sweaty Bihari bar, something like Beedi Jalaile in Omkara.

It has been a long time since we saw, Malaika spicing up the screens and we eagerly await this number, coz Malaika with Salman, is something which we don’t get to see in an ordinary course.
