It was not Hrithik Roshan, but Katrina who surprised everyone, when the trailer of Zoya Akhtar's film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, starring Abhay Deol, Hrithik, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina and Kalki Koechlin was unveiled a couple of days ago. She is seen performing hair-raising stunts like scuba diving and riding a Harley Davidson.

“My character's name is Laila in ZNMD and I play a diving instructor! I rode a bike too and learnt riding it within few days before I shot the scene which took around 3 hours. I am ready to ride a bike on the streets of Mumbai now and would love to take Hrithik Roshan for a ride!” Times of India quoted her as saying.

Well, if you come across a girl riding a bike on the streets, it could be Katrina. Watch out guys!

Madhuri Dixit wants to work with Hrithik!

Hrithik Roshan was in London recently to unveil his Madame Tussauds wax statue. He was there with his entire family. Of course, his sons were mesmerised by their dad’s close to real life statue, and were confused of finding ‘two daddies’.

However, it was wife Suzzane who was overwhelmed with joy. As soon as the statue was unveiled, she went by its side and gently kissed it on the cheek. Said an on-looker, “That was a sweet gesture, but then she has the real Hrithik all to herself”.

Hrithik Roshan, about the ocassion said, “It was a special moment for all of us. Tears would not stop running down my eyes. I am thankful that I have done something and made my family proud. My sons were excited, my wife overjoyed, my father proud, and I was simply stunned”.

Well, kudos to this Roshan who stands tall and solid at Madame Tussauds.

After a series of Bollywood celebrities, now we have actor Hrithik Roshan’s wax statue at Madamme Tassauds, London in his “Dhoom” style with a short sleeved shirt left wide open to reveal his toned and taut body to full effect.

His wife, Sussanne, gave the waxen Hrithik Roshan a kiss and said, “Now I have two of you.”

On meeting his double for the first time Hrithik Roshan commented: “I can’t believe I’m here in Madame Tussauds unveiling a wax figure of myself. It’s incredible just how detailed the figure is - they’ve really captured my look. I’m truly honoured to be included and hope my fans will like seeing the figure.”

The media has been giving him a constant workout since the unveiling of the statue. “I’ve been talking for nine hours,” he admitted from London. “I’m astounded by the interest in Indian cinema globally. It warms my heart,” he asserts.

Shah Rukh Khan has his wax figure at two Madame Tussauds museums. Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s statue was unveiled in September 2004 at the London museum. Post-marriage, another statue of the actor was unveiled at the Times Square museum in New York in 2007. Actor Salman Khan got waxed by Tussauds in 2008. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan was the first Bollywood celebrity to get waxed at Madame Tussauds.

Roshan was completely involved in the creation of the figure - attending two sittings in Mumbai and London where sculptors captured a catalogue of reference photographs and hundreds of precise measurements. Hrithik also donated the red shirt and dark blue jeans his figure is wearing.

Karan Johar promises passion play like never before between Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in his upcoming remake of Agneepath, which he will produce.

The movie will have Hrithik reprising the role of the angry man immortalized by Amitabh Bachchan in the original film by Mukul Anand. Priyanka, however, will not play a nurse, Big B’s love interest in the original played by Madhavi. There have been rumours that Priyanka’s character has been changed from a nurse to a prostitute, but Karan Johar denies it.

What he confirms emphatically is that there’s going to be a smouldering chemistry between Hrithik and Priyanka in the film.

“The new 'Agneepath' is first and foremost an intense love story. There was love between Priyanka and Hrithik in 'Krissh'. But here we want an unparalleled intensity between them. You've never seen Priyanka and Hrithik get so intense with anyone before,” Karan Johar is quoted as saying by a news agency.

The original film, made in 1990, was produced by Karan’s dad Yash Johar.

We hear that Kat and Hrithik took part in the famous Tomato festival in the country. In the festival people smash over-ripe tomatoes on each other. The annual ritual is supposed to bring good luck.

Hrithik’s wife Sussanne Roshan who is also in Spain with the shooting unit was repulsed by the smell of tomatoes but the film’s cast, primarily Hrithik and Katrina had a whale of a time throwing tomato missiles at each other.

“I had a lot of fun,” Katrina is quoted as saying.

Hrithik and Kat are also set to watch bullfight for a scene.

Hrithik Roshan turned singer for his papa’s production ‘Kites’!

A good singer and a terrific dancer, Hrithik Roshan now has his finger in another pie. He’s turned singer for his papa’s production Kites in which he pairs up with Mexican hottie Barbara Mori.

From what we learn, the film’s director Anurag Basu heard Hrithik singing in a jam session after dinner one evening. Convinced that Hrithik would be able to croon a song, Basu prodded him to record a number for the film.

Reluctantly and nervously, Hrithik agreed and sang the song ‘Kites in the sky’. The track is composed by Hrithik’s uncle Rajesh Roshan.

“I was nervous to make my debut as a singer considering I come from a family that is well known in the world of music, but for this very reason my chacha (Rajesh Roshan) and Anurag were most certain that I could sing,” Hrithik said in a statement to the media.

The film’s music will be launched on 40 TV channels simultaneously as part of a roadblock marketing with the airing of the song ‘Kites In the sky’ on March 29 at 9.30 pm.

Hrithik Roshan is arguably going to be the first Hindi movie star to learn magic tricks. And the man prodding the hazel-eyed star to do so is none other than director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

We hear Hrithik plays a magician in Bhansali’s in-the-making Guzaarish. And since both the actor and the director are sticklers for details, Hrithik is actually going to learn a few magic tricks from a Ukrainian magician who has been roped in for the project.

Reports say Bhansali wanted a magician who could devote ample time to train Hrithik for the role. After much research, the Ukrainian was finalized. He’s already been once in Mumbai and has taught a few tricks to Hrithik, which the star has practiced well. Now Hrithik amuses his kids with those tricks.

But Hrithik’s real training is yet to start. The Ukrainian magician will reportedly arrive again in Mumbai in Feb and teach Hrithik many tricks.

Once the actor has mastered the sleight of hand, he will face the camera for the remaining portions of ‘Guzaarish’. 

Hrithik is having sleepless nights!

Before you begin the guessing game, let’s kill the suspense. Hrithik Roshan wasn’t locked out of the house by his wife nor is there any friction between the couple at the moment, at least so it seems. Yet, Hrithik is having sleepless nights. Why?

The actor apparently doesn’t want to leave any boulder unturned to get his paraplegic, wheel chair-bound character right in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Guzaarish.

So Hrithik has been lying awake at nights, memorizing his lengthy dialogues from the film. And, interestingly, the star rehearses his dialogues not in the confines of his Juhu apartment, but out in the balcony.

The actor was recently heard mouthing a lengthy monologue at 2 am in the morning. So fervently was he rehearsing that some portions of the dialogue (which said “mujhe mukti de de”) were audible on the road even though the balcony is at the 8th floor.

Hrithik Roshan has been the favorite of the gossip columns for quite sometime now. On the professional front, he is getting accolades for his performance in his much awaited project, ‘Kites’ but his personal front has been in news for all wrong reasons. He is being linked to his ‘Kites’ co-star Barbara Mori, leading to differences with his wife Suzanne followed by his arguments with papa Rakesh Roshan which has made him decide to leave his paternal house.
All these personal problems have left Hrithik, who has always had a good boy image, turn to alcohol for solace. The bottle which used to be his fellow only on occasional events has now become his fast and regular friend. The rumor that Hrithik has turned alcoholic found firm grounds when he came drunk at Karan Johar’s recent birthday bash. Hrithik looked like he was in high spirits and later even danced on one of the tables.
However, we feel that this is just a passing phase in junior Roshan’s life and the star will soon get over it proving all the criticisms wrong.

Barbara Mori at a loss without Hrithik Roshan

Barbara Mori would have been at a loss during the shooting of Kites had Hrithik Roshan not been around.
On the sets of a movie that tells a love story beyond linguistic and cultural barriers, it was language that bonded Hrithik and Barbara more than anything. But how? You ask! She speaks Mexican Spanish and knows only tooti footi English. He knows English well, but is a greenhorn at Spanish. How could language possibly bind them?
Well, the answer lies with director Anurag Basu who speaks English so rapidly that during the shoots when he explained the scenes to Barbara in English she would not only fail to understand what he said, but would ask him to explain the scene again “in English”. Needless to say, Anurag gave up after some tries and Hrithik had to come to rescue.


The interesting thing is, Barbara understood Hrithik’s English clearly. So every time Anurag explained a scene to Barbara, she, having understood little, if not nothing, would turn to Hrithik for explanation. And he, like a well-bred gentleman gifted with eloquence, would explain the scene to Barbara.
Anurag Basu says instead of explaining the scene again and again to Barbara, he left the job to Hrithik.
And it goes without saying that this role as an interpreter really helped build a rapport between Hrithik and Barbara. Had it not been for him, the Mexican hottie would surely have been at a loss, trying to decipher Anurag’s English.

New Hrithik-Aishwarya starrer named 'Guzaarish'

After struggling to find a suitable name for his Hrithik-Aishwarya starrer, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is reported to have finalized a title - it’s ‘Guzaarish’. Following the success of Jodhaa Akbar many directors were more than keen to sign the amazing on-screen couple of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai together. And the first to do it was Sanjay Leela Bhansali, for his untitled film. The movie is still in nascent stages and will go on floors only by next year. For ‘Guzaarish’, Bhansali is tying up with producers UTV Motion Pictures; coincidentally, they were also the producers of ‘Jodhaa Akbar’. Earlier it was said that Bhansali will team up with BIG Pictures or Sony Pictures to make the film. But now the picture is clear; it’s UTV.


The movie is believed to be a remake of the 2006 Hollywood film ‘The Prestige’, which was directed by the ‘The Dark Knight’ director Christopher Nolan. It’s reported that Bhansali has adapted the script in Indian context, which is about two rival magicians. And now, some interesting part. According to a recent buzz, Bhansali’s good old friend Salman Khan is rumoured to be miffed with the director. Why? Actually, it was Salman who suggested the story idea to Bhansali and now the director is making the film with Hrithik instead of him. The movie was supposed to go on floors this year but has been delayed because of Hrithik Roshan, who is busy with his film Kites .
