Ameesha Patel hospitalized!

Amisha Patel is going through a not so great phase of her life. She lost her maternal grandmother on Thursday. The actress was quite close to her and her loss hit her hard. However, not the one to let her personal problems affect her personal front, she reported at her shooting schedule for a Telugu film in Hyderabad, but unable to take the strain of grief, devastation, heat, dust and work load, she collapsed on the sets and had to be rushed to a hospital where she was put on intravenous drip. Her mother Asha Patel immediately left from Mumbai to be with her and take care of her.

Brother Ashmit Patel confirms saying, “Yes Amisha was hospitalised. I think the stress of losing our grandma a few days back and the heat and dust at her shoot in Hyderabad took a toll on her. Also, there’s a round of very strong viral infection doing the rounds in the city. Fortunately my mom is around to take care of her. In fact she has almost recovered and is on her way to resume shooting.”

Ameesha Patel and Kanav Puri’s relationship has ended?

Ameesha Patel and her NRI boyfriend Kanav Puri’s relationship has ended. The couple had been dating for nearly three years before their relationship hit troubled waters nearly eight months ago. The key reason for their recent split was that Kanav can’t wait to tie the knot while Ameesha wants to give one more shot to her flailing acting career and marriage is the last thing on her mind.

A source said, “There has been major trouble between Ameesha and Kanav for quite some time now. While Kanav has been constantly speaking of settling down with Ameesha, marriage is not on her priority list right now. In fact, he had proposed marriage to her when he had come down to India to celebrate her birthday in June last year. Much to his dismay, Ameesha has been dilly-dallying ever since he officially asked her to marry him. Evidently, Kanav was getting quite restless.”

Another reason why Ameesha isn’t in a hurry to tie the knot is that she recently patched up with her estranged parents. “It has made Ameesha all the more emotionally secure, which undoubtedly is a good thing, but has resulted in her putting her relationship with Kanav on the back burner. Ameesha was a loner for a really long time after separating from her family and her subsequent break up with filmmaker Vikram Bhatt. She had found solace with Kanav but the emotional vacuum is no longer there and Ameesha doesn’t miss Kanav like she used to now that she has her parents and brother Ashmit back in her life,” added the source.

According to the source, Kanav had come to India in early December to once again ask Ameesha about her decision to get married to him but she thinks that tying the knot would mean professional hara-kiri and so had asked for more time.

The source said, “There is so much tension that both have stopped speaking altogether. The marriage plans have definitely gone for a toss with frequent fights taking a toll on their relationship. They have now decided to take time off from each other. While Ameesha is concentrating on her career, Kanav does not want to wait any longer and things are beyond repair.”

Wedding bells for Amisha Patel?

In the last couple of weeks the media married off hottie Ms.Amisha Patel to her London-based beau, Kanav Puri. Though the gal rubbished all rumours saying, " Shaadi, aur main, abhi nahin! " Oh, it wasn’t that filmi , okay? This is only our version, though it wasn’t too far from the truth, huh, Amy baby?

Well, now that the wedding bells aren’t tolling, the gal wants everyone to only think of her ’body’ of work (yeah, her hot bod has been drawing a lot of eyeballs, these days). And with all those plump offers, and lotsa moolah coming in, finally, Amisha is planning to buy her own cozy home in Mumbai.

Maybe loverboy, Kanav, could move into Ameesha Patel’s life and space, full-time. Not a bad idea, na ? It’s fashionably cool, too. Or will Amy gal exclaim, " Shaadi se pehle, kabhi nahin! " Lol! Just kidding!
