Priyanka Chopra-“Only Katrina Kaif Replace Me“

Priyanka Chopra is game for even a passing shot in Dostana sequel even though rival Katrina, who she cannot stand, is starring in the movie. Priyanka Chopra has a special Dostana with the lead actors of the flick — Abhishek Bachchan and John Abharahan — director Tarun Mansukhani and producer Karan Johar.

Though she has been replaced in the sequel by arch enemy Katrina Kaif, she makes it clear that she considers the film her turf and will be dropping in on the sets, “to hang with her friends”. We are sure this visit would not happen when Katrina’s around.

Priyanka Chopra admits she will be more than happy to do a cameo in the sequel, if asked. In all fairness, Katrina should not have a problem with Priyabka Chopra doing a sequel. Preity Zinta was part of the Koi Mil Gaya sequel Krrish, starring Piggy Chops. But the two girls had no scenes together. Given the rivalry between Priyanka and Katrina Kaif, it will be interesting to see if somehow they both end up being part of the same film, even if they are not in the same scene.

Even if I do a cameo or not, I am going on that set! Its too much fun. I will go and sit around and chill on the sets. Or just do one passing shot (laughs)”.

On her flight to Brazil to shoot her ‘reality’ show Khatron Ke Khiladi, Priyanka was seen stepping out of Shahid Kapoor’s black and amply spacious Range Rover at the international airport in Mumbai on Monday night.

Obviously, the duo did not want the press to get a whiff of the fact that Shahid had come to drop Priyanka off. When the Range Rover wheeled in the airport complex, Shahid must have spotted the media at Terminal A where Priyanka was supposed to alight. So the Range Rover speeded to Terminal B where Priyanka stepped out quietly and rushed to Terminal A to give the impression that she had come on her own.

But the eagle-eyed paparazzi did manage to click the Range Rover and no surprises for guessing that its number matches that of Shahid’s car.

Priyanka is off to Brazil for a month and we guess the two lovers needed as much quality time together as they could squeeze out.

This time around while shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala's ANJAANA ANJAANI, Ranbir Kapoor got so engrossed into getting a particular running scene right that co-star Priyanka Chopra injured her leg thanks to a pair of high heels and Ranbir's enthusiasm to get the scene right.

Says a source present on the sets, "In the scene Ranbir and Priyanka had to filmed running away and Ranbir unintentionally was running at a pace too fast for Priyanka who was already having trouble in her high heels .Next thing you know she had fallen down and her leg was bleeding profusely."

The shoot was stalled for four hours and Ranbir Kapoor being the gentleman he is spent the rest of the day profusely apologising to Priyanka Chopra and even personally looked into getting a doctor's opinion.

"Ranbir felt terrible about Priyanka's leg and spent the rest of the day checking up on her and apologizing to her," adds the source.

Kajol needs a son!

That she is as excited to have a daughter, as she is to have a son, is a pleasant surprise. Kajol says, “I’m just hoping for a healthy happy baby and a healthy happy momma to look after the baby. I don’t think I can give my best in an environment where I am not comfortable. With both John and Katrina’s dates free, director Vipul Amrutlal Shah has seized the opportunity and is set to begin his remake of the Tamil hit Kaakha Kaakha with Nishikant Kamat (of Mumbai Meri Jaan) as its director.

Vipul has already finalized John. Now, he’s pursuing Katrina to play the leading lady. Reports say Katrina has already come aboard, but we are waiting for the confirmation.

The film is an action thriller about a cop intent on wiping out crime from the city.
