That is a question doing rounds these days with a reputed production house from South India offering Kangana Ranaut Rs 1 crore plus to get the bald look for a new Tamil action-packed thriller. Her first south Indian movie ‘Dhoom Dham’ was such a huge success, making her so popular with the movie lovers there that the producers did not hesitate once in offering her this lucrative amount with the condition that she goes bald for some sequences in the film.

So, Kangana is in a dilemma now. On one hand she hesitates taking such a big step as going bald, on the other hand, she definitely does not want to miss such a big offer and opportunity. After all such rare opportunities (with handsome offer and a meaty role in the film) don’t fall in place at the same time always.

Dear Kangana.. Bollywood does have a history of few but bold and beautiful actresses who shaved off their tresses for their roles. Nandita Das and Shabana Azmi did it for Deepa Mehta’s ‘Water’ but when the film ran into controversies their roles were given to Lisa Ray and Seema Biswas respectively who also went bald for these parts.
