The last day of shooting often becomes an emotional day for the cast and crew of any film.
So no
surprise that Deepika Padukone decided to take the crew members of Love Aaj Kal out on an informal dinner on the day the shooting of the film wrapped up in Delhi.
Since most of the crew was young, Deepika had bonded well with them throughout the film’s shooting. And on the final day, she invited assistant directors, production assistants and the costume unit to dinner at a restaurant serving yummy Italian food.
And expectedly, the whole gang had a whale of a time munching on pizzas and pastas. 
“We spent the evening remembering the time we spent together, laughing at internal jokes and spilling secrets,” Deepika is quoted by TNN as saying.
The movie has Deepika playing two roles, since the story is set in two time periods. She plays a Punjabi kudi Harleen in the Calcutta of 1965, and she plays a modern girl Meera in San Francisco and Delhi in 2009.
Saif Ali Khan too plays two roles.
