After ‘Ra.One’, Shahrukh Khan-starrer ‘Don 2: The King is Back’ is also being launched as a video game with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment joining hands with Ganeshshastra and Mango games, two leading gaming companies in India.
“I feel gaming is a good platform to tell stories of a film and about the characters through this medium. Today, gaming is a biggest platform. They make games according to films. I hope more and more films make use of this growing platform,” Shahrukh Khan said.
Ganeshshastra has developed a game where players can get to play Shahrukh’s character and do action sequences similar to those enacted in the film. The game will be launched in March next year. The other game, developed by Mango Games, will be launched on Facebook on December 23, the day the film releases in cinema houses.
