Katrina Kaif wants young heroes

It’s surprising that an actress in her early 20s has been working with actors who are more than forty years old. That’s how it goes in Bollywood. A male actor may enter his forties - which Salman Khan , Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have - and yet play the loverboys jumping around the trees to woo young Bollywood damsels in their twenties. Since the start of her career, Katrina Kaif has worked with the aforementioned ageing stars, and not to forget Govinda in Partner .

But now, as a career strategy, Katrina is learnt to have decided to work with Bollywood’s younger brigade. We all know she’s paired with John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh in New York and will be seen romancing Ranbir Kapoor in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani . Now, perhaps sensing Katrina’s mood, director Sanjay Gadhvi whose last film Kidnap failed to replicate the success of his earlier films ( Dhoom and Dhoom 2 ) is planning a thriller with Imran Khan in the lead role. Rumour has it that Gadhvi wants Katrina to be the film’s heroine. Things are still hush-hush and it’s not clear whether Kat has agreed to the film, but given her new penchant of working with young stars, she might say yes to a film with Imran. Just imagine what kind of jodi would the two make!
