They also point out that in Endhiran he played good as well as bad and that it why it had worked, but doing a complete negative role is not acceptable.

Certain reports also mock the idea, considering the fate of Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One which featured Rajini in a very small cameo, that did not go down well with his fans that received a lot of flak for the film. And so it also suggest that Dhoom 3 makers need to think over on this idea of having Rajini do a cameo or at least give him a substantial role.

Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom 3 has finally started rolling after few delays on the casting and other front. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra reprise their series regular roles in the film. Katrina Kaif is the leading lady of the film opposite Aamir Khan. As a last minute surprise, Jackie Shroff has become one of the cast members (reportedly, he is playing an integral part in the movie). It’s been noted that Jackie and Aamir share screen space after long 17 years (remember Rangeela?). In the first official confirmation from the family, Bollywood Star Saif Ali Khan‘s mother, Sharmila Tagore has confirmed her son’s marriage to Bollywood Actress Kareena Kapoor on October 16. “Yes, that’s the date we have decided upon. There will be a reception, too, but not a very big one.” The wedding ceremony, said close sources, will be a quiet affair, too.

Sources close to Tagore said that Kapoor, like her would be mother-in-law, will continue acting in films. “Sharmila’s best innings as an actress started after marriage. Saif Ali Khan was a baby on the sets of one of her best films, ‘Aradhana’. Kareena will follow in her footsteps. After marriage, she will do two films a year. Right after she completes Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’, she’ll begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’,” said the source.

In fact, Kapoor has assured a very worried Bhansali that she will not take a break for her wedding. The wedding, which will be held at the Pataudis’ ancestral home, will only be attended by immediate family members of the couple.

Says the source, “Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi died only recently, so the family wanted a low-key wedding. Kareena and her family agreed, too. However, there may be a large reception bash after the wedding, considering both Saif and Kareena have many friends in the film industry.”

The venue for the wedding reception is still undecided. It may be held in Mumbai on the wedding day itself.

Says the source, “The honeymoon, however, will have to wait. Kareena Kapoor has no intentions of letting her films suffer after marriage.”

Earlier there were a lot of suggestions and rumors were that the child has been named Abhilasha (Abhi-Ash) names combined, but now we hear that officially the name is announced to be Aaradhya Bachchan and a newspaper daily has been reported that the name has been registered two days ago.

There were also reports that the girl baby and the grand daughter of Amitabh Bachchan has been named Abhinandika and Aaliya.

Beti B, now Aaradhya Bachchan was born on the 16th of November 2011. We just hope this name is final as per the reports.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan says his wife Aishwarya Rai is happy playing mother to their three-and-half-month-old daughter and would return to work when she feels like doing so. Meanwhile the actor is keen to work in films inspired by plays by young writers.

"As and when she wants to come back, is completely her decision... as and when she decides, when she sees a script she is inspired by - the decision is entirely hers. Currently she is very happy doing what she is doing," the 36-year-old said here at the launch of Sorabh Pant's book "The Wednesday Soul".

While most filmmakers may opt for novels to base their films on, Abhishek favours plays penned by young writers.

"I like to read biographies and autobiographies. But there are some wonderful plays out there that a lot of young, Indian talent is writing. I would love to do one of them," said Abhishek.

"I can't decide which one. Like I said, there is a lot of interesting material being written in India, I would love to delve into that resource to come up with a film," he added.

The Bachchan family is yet to announce the name of Beti B.

Abhishek is currently busy working on "Bol Bachchan" and "Chakravyuha". His two sequels - "Dostana 2" and "Dhoom 3" will go on floors soon.

Saif Ali Khan will never work with Deepika Padukone again!

The usually mild-mannered actor has not taken too kindly to Deepika's walking out of Abbas-Mustan's Race 2 at the eleventh hour, leaving the project in an awful predicament.

Things have gotten so uncomfortable between these two one-time profressional co-stars that their incomplete film -- tentatively titled Cocktail -- is suffering some stress in the final phase of shooting.

Says a friend of Saif, "It's really unfortunate that Deepika walked out of a film where her co-star was Saif. Saif has stood by her repeatedly. He gave her his home production Love Aaj Kal  selecting her over his lady love Kareena Kapoor.Then he signed Deepika for his second production Cocktail. It didn't stop there. Even when his well-wishers told him the pair was getting stale -- he signed Prakash Jha's  Aarakshan ."

Now Saif is perhaps justifiably feeling betrayed.

Says Saif's friend, "Saif worked with Deepika in three films. The least he expected was a certain amount of commitment to the fourth film that they had signed together, specially since this was the most expensive of the four films, and a franchise at that."

Adds the friend, "Saif is very upset with Deepika. He thinks her behaviour is unprofessional and uncool. Would she have walked out on the project if it had starred Shah Rukh , Salman or Aamir Khan ?"

People close to Saif feel Deepika's attitude towards the Saif-starrer did a turn-around the minute she signed films with Rajinikanth and Ranbir Kapoor.

Last week, Saif spoke to Race 2 producer Ramesh Taurani to work out an emergency plan. Apparently, Saif has told Taurani he is with the producer in any line of action adopted to tackle the crisis.

When contacted, Taurani conceded, "Of course Saif is with me on this issue. A case is already filed with CINTAA (Cine and Television Artistes Association) and AMPTPP (Association Of Motion Picture & TV Programme Producers). I am sure justice will prevail."

While Taurani tries to find a replacement quickly, we hear Kareena Kapoor just may re-adjust her dates to accommodate Race 2.

Salman, SRk for Dhoom 4 and 5!

Yashraj Films is planning to take Dhoom series to a new level! They have already started Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan, who is going to play a stylish baddie for the first time in the film. And now reports have it that the forthcoming Dhoom 4 and 5 will have Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan playing the villains in the two parts, respectively.

Director of Dhoom 3, Vijay Krishna Acharya of Tashan fame, will be working on the script for both the sequels.

Moreover, there is a great piece of news for the Salman Khan fans. Salman has reportedly discussed Dhoom 4 with Aditya Chopra and has agreed to do it.

“Salman Khan wanted to work in a stylish action film. And Adi had discussed the possibility of Dhoom 4 with him. Salman had agreed. That’s how they ended up working on Ek Tha Tiger. The script of Dhoom 4 is already locked,” a source shares the tidbit with a daily.

But it seems there is more to Aditya Chopra’s big plans. As for now, we don’t want to be a killjoy for Salman and Shahrukh’s fans.

Lara Dutta and hubby Mahesh Bhupathi are on cloud nine over the birth of their first born, which is a girl. Lara and Mahesh wedded in February last year after being in love for several months. The couple’s wedding was simple affair as they chose to opt for a court wedding.

Later on, they threw a grand reception inviting their celebrity friends for it. Lara is a former Miss Universe who was seen in a few Hindi films while Mahesh Bhupathi is an ace tennis player. Congrats to the proud parents!

Ritesh and Genelia marriage date announced!

Ritesh Deshmuk and Genelia D Souza are finally getting married and the date is announced to be 3rd of February 2012.

The Wedding would be in Maharashtrian style and the reception is said to be in Christian style.Genelia abou ther wedding dress and the preparations said, “I will be wearing outfits by designers like Ritu Kumar, Sureily Goel. I will be wearing a blend of traditional outfits and western silhouettes for the different ceremonies, as I personally am very fond of colors.”

Ritesh is also looking forward to his brother Dheeraj's Marriage with filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani’s daughter Honey, which is also scheduled around the same time.

Genelia who is too excited about planning for the whole thing adds,  “It’s one of the biggest days of our life and so many things are happening around the same time. It just makes for the perfect wedding atmosphere. Though we didn’t expect so many things to be lined up, I’m just very happy for everything!”

Ritesh adds, “I’m excited as it’s my first wedding and I am so busy with my film’s promotion (laughs). There are two weddings happening in our house. Hence, all the frenzy is obvious. Yes, my wedding is to happen on February 3 and that’s for sure. But besides I haven’t planned much as of now.”

Hoping against hope, filmmakers in Bollywood have been sending scripts to Aishwarya Rai but have drawn a blank so far.

With the rumour of Aishwarya Rai having shown interest in a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali fizzling out, it’s clear that the actress is enjoying her motherhood to the hilt. According to sources close to the Bachchan family, Aishwarya has dedicated herself fully to the care of her little daughter, so much so she is not even giving a thought to making a comeback to films in Bollywood.

However, that hasn’t stopped the hopeful filmmakers from sending her scripts of their films. In fact, some producers have offered Aishwarya Rai films alongside hubby Abhishek Bachchan to lure her out of her self-chosen hibernation following the birth of her daughter in November 2011.

But nothing doing for Aishwarya. Family comes before films for the actress and a shining example for her in the Bachchan household is the saasu maa Jaya Bachchan who had put her own acting career on hold to care for Shweta and Abhishek.

Meanwhile, the source says that there is no pressure on Aishwarya from Abhishek about keeping away from films. She is doing it by her own volition.

The film with SRK is being made under YRF banners and will be directed by Yash Chopra himself who is returning to direction after eight long years. This out and out love story will be shot in exotic loactions of London, Thailand and India and has musical notes from A.R. Rahman and Gulzar. Yash Chopra’s son, Uday Chopra tweeted,

“Launching my dad’s film today with a little pooja at YRF… shoot starts tomorrow with @ iamsrk and Katrina Kaif.. Dad directing after Veer- Zaara.”

John Abraham secretly married Priya Runchal?

However, the actor hasn’t yet publicly confirmed his wedding. Talking about what he feels about the institution of marriage, John had earlier said, “It’s a sacred bond and I have great respect for it”.
