Katrina Kaif's New Year plans canceled

Actress Katrina Kaif was scheduled to dance at the JW Marriot this New Year Eve for Rs 1 crore. But keeping in mind the mood of the times, the hotel has decided to cancel their New Year plans. However, not all hotels have followed suit. It seems that Bipasha Basu, who was scheduled to perform at the Sahara Star, will continue to do so. That hotel is not canceling its New Year plans.

So Bipasha stands to gain while Katrina seems to have lost out on her one crore. Of course, the actress has said that, keeping in mind the current situation, she does not mind. Incidentally, Sahara Star has actually not yet reacted. The top brass there are yet to take a call on New Year celebrations. In fact, the mood at most hotels across the city continues to be somber, with business dropping. If Katrina had performed at the Marriot this New Year eve, she would be following a tradition set by none other than Bipasha, followed by the controversial Mallika Sherawat last year. Katrina would have had a lot to live up to.
