Priyanka Chopra increased her acting fee?

Her morale boosted by two back-to-back hits, actress Priyanka Chopra is rumoured to have increased her acting fee.

Following a string of flops, Priyanka’s career is revived again after the good run of Fashion and Dostana . Now the pretty damsel has signed a Yashraj film opposite Uday Chopra . And the buzz doing the rounds is that she has quoted a whopping amount of Rs. 3 crores for the flick.

The actress, who is considered to be in Bollywood’s top league presently, was the first choice for Yashraj Films , the banner that is known to work with a selected group of stars, but is now roping in new actors who haven’t been part of their films before. Priyanka is one such star. Reportedly, Yashraj Films have agreed to pay the humungous amount to the actress despite the fact that the banner has never pampered any of their leading ladies with such an amount.According to sources, the film will be directed by Jugal Hansraj who is a part of the extended Chopra family. Since YRF plan to re-launch their son Uday Chopra with this flick, it’s hard to get any top heroine to work opposite a flop actor. May be that explains why Priyanka has managed to have her way.

At the same time, doing a Yashraj Film is a dream for any actor. But when Bollywood is already booming with talented directors and quality films, banners hardly matter.Going by reports, Priyanka instinctively liked her role in the YRF film when it was narrated to her.
